I strive to create a learning environment that is welcoming, positive, safe, and built on trust, while simultaneously recognizing and fighting systemic discrimination and individual bias. The question that guides my developing pedagogy is, how can I develop teaching methods and assessment strategies which meet the authenticity of my students’ work?
